MCPD: Web Developer
The Microsoft
Certified Professional Developer: Web Developer (MCPD: Web Developer)
certification demonstrates that you have the comprehensive skills that are
required to build interactive, data-driven Web applications that use ASP.NET
2.0 for both intranet and Internet uses. Microsoft Skills Assessments for
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 help developers focus
their exam preparation training and find learning resources to upgrade from
Visual Studio .NET and ASP.NET 1.0 and ASP.NET 1.1.
How to Earn Your MCPD:
Web Developer
MCPD: Web Developer candidates
must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0 Web
Applications credential (two exams). After earning this certification,
candidates may earn their MCPD: Web Developer by passing one additional
required exam. If you are a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD),
you can upgrade to the MCPD: Web Developer certification by taking one
upgrade exam. You do not need to obtain the MCTS prerequisite credential if
you take the upgrade exam.
